From the very first session, I work to build a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients, one that is based on empathy, compassion, and understanding. I listen deeply and ask questions that encourage clients to gain greater insight into themselves and their experiences. Depending on the needs of the client, I may incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques, including somatic or body-based, attachment-based, strength-based, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and neurobiological perspectives. Attachment science and interpersonal neurobiology are at the core of my therapeutic approach, as I believe that understanding how early relationships and experiences shape our neural pathways and emotional regulation styles is essential to creating change. I believe that by learning to relate to our own experiences in more adaptive and empowering ways, we can gain greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and resilience.
But above all, I believe in empowering my clients to take charge of their lives and make positive changes. My goal is to help clients tap into their strengths and resources and develop new skills and strategies for achieving their goals and living their best lives.
